The "Import and Export Cookies via Excel" feature in Consentik Cookie Banner provides an efficient way for merchants to manage their website's cookies by using CSV template files. This feature simplifies the process of adding or updating multiple cookie details simultaneously and allows for easy backup or analysis by exporting existing cookie data.
Bulk Management: Easily manage large numbers of cookies by importing and exporting them in bulk, saving time and reducing manual entry errors.
Consistency and Accuracy: Ensure that all cookie information is consistent and accurate across the website by handling data in a structured format.
Data Portability: Export cookie data for backup purposes or to use in other tools for further analysis and reporting.
Prepare Excel Template: Download the CSV template from the Consentik Cookie page. Fill in the cookie details such as cookie name, cookie description, category, platform and expired time.
Upload Excel File: Navigate to the cookie management section in your Consentik, click to Import/Export button on the head and upload your file
Validation and Import: The system will validate the data for any errors. If the data is correct, cookies will be imported and set up in your cookie banner configuration.
Select Cookies to Export: In the Consentik Cookie Management Page, click to Import/Export button on the head and change to Export tab. You can choose all cookies or select specific categories.
Export to Excel: Click the export button, and the system will generate a Excel file containing the details of the selected cookies and send it to you email.
Download and Use: On the export email, there is a Download link for the Excel file, click to it to download export file.
